F&P Introduction
F&P is engaged in the fields of artificial intelligence, personal robotics and optimization algorithms
for business solutions. Based on experiences over the last decade, advanced control structures are
developped which may include force control, data fusion of redundant sensor systems, adaptive
behavior and easy to use interfaces.

Traineeship Requirements
The trainee will be involved in these software developments and therefore he or she has to be equipped with
- experiences in programming languages such as C++,Python, Java and/or MatLab-Simulink.
- Although support is provided as intense as needed, the ability to work autonomously while maintaining confidence will help to enhance creativity andeffectiveness of the collaboration.  
- Aspects of electronics and mechanics will be involved, but software programming will be the core of the working packages.
- Fluent English, in both writing and speaking.


Traineeship General Schedule
The one-year traineeship tasks will be devided into four different phases.
The first 3 months will mainly beused to set up the project, acquire the required skills (as far as not yet available), summarizing theory and providing the necessary facilities (including at least electronic boards and a robot simulation environment).
In the second quarter, a prototype of the new robot control system may be realized by the F&P team, where the trainee will be an important contributor.  
Months 6 to 9 will allow to test the system and improve it.
The last three months will hopefully be the phase where the solution is implemented for first customer applications and would then also include technical support.   

Working location: in Shenyang at our Joint Venture Company
